Cameron Alexander
Cameron Alexander focuses his practice on all aspects of the construction industry, helping represent industry-leading contractors and design-builders across North America on multi-million and billion-dollar projects. He provides clients with guidance during construction and assists in claims development and dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation, in state and federal courts across the country. His experience includes contract preparation, bond disputes, construction defect disputes, insurance disputes, and engineering disputes on private and public projects.
Cameron’s recent work includes the representation of a design-builder on a more than $1.8 billion heavy civil and bridge project in Miami in developing and pursuing over $720 million in claims and a general contractor on a more than $665 million heavy civil project in Seattle in developing and pursuing over $270 million in claims. Cameron has also assisted in the development of other claims for design builders on light-rail and heavy-civil construction projects, including the development of over $300 million in claims on a $2.5 billion project in Canada and the development of $60 million in claims on a $2.8 billion project in the Washington D.C. area.

Biography
Cameron Alexander focuses his practice on all aspects of the construction industry, helping represent industry-leading contractors and design-builders across North America on multi-million and billion-dollar projects. He regularly provides guidance during construction projects and is involved in all phases of the dispute resolution process.
Cameron’s recent work includes the representation of a design-builder on a more than $1.8 billion heavy-civil and bridge project in Miami in developing and pursuing over $270 million in claims and the representation of a contractor on an over $665 million light-rail and bridge project in pursuing over $270 million in claims. Cameron’s Florida work includes advising the design-builder constructing a “one-of-a-kind” cable stay bridge — one of the most notable, high-profile construction projects being built in the state. Cameron has also assisted in the development of other claims for design builders on light-rail and heavy-civil construction projects, including the development of over $300 million in claims on a $2.5 billion project in Canada and the development of $60 million in claims on a $2.8 billion project in the Washington, D.C. area.
Cameron has successfully represented clients in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and various alternative dispute resolution forums, earning a reputation for his ability to understand and explain complex technical issues. He has also recently appeared before judges in the Southern District, advocating before some of the highest levels of judiciary. His litigation expertise spans all phases of a project’s lifecycle, from contract execution through dispute resolution.
Before his law career, Cameron worked in the construction industry as a project engineer and estimator with a large commercial and industrial contractor, assisting with the planning, bidding, and management of various construction projects. Cameron now applies his industry knowledge to better understand and analyze complex technical issues that commonly arise during construction. Cameron’s commitment to detail, combined with his understanding of law, business, and litigation, makes him a trusted and reliable advocate for contractors and design-builders working on some of the most unique and challenging projects in North America.
