Grand Parkway
Moye O’Brien represented the design-builder in developing and pursuing claims from the project’s owner seeking more than $120 million of additional costs on a project with a contract value of approximately one billion dollars. The dispute arose from a major highway in the Greater Houston area that spans more than 180 miles and seven counties. Key features of the project included the construction of multiple new tolled lanes and the reconstruction of 74 bridges. The project aimed to accommodate future population growth, reduce highway congestion, and enhance connectivity to major highways.
